Aldi's $6.99 Puzzle Toy Aims to Keep Busy Dogs Occupied

You know the scene: you've finally settled in for a quiet moment, perhaps with something to snack on, when your dog abruptly shifts into full chaos mode. Zoomies erupt. Toys go flying. That squeaky item gets dropped in your lap over and over. It's a whirlwind that's almost impressive, and it's precisely the moment you'd welcome anything that could hold their attention for longer than a few minutes.

Aldi's Heart to Tail 3-Tier Pet Food Puzzle may be exactly that solution. It costs $6.99 and is offered as part of Aldi's weekly Aldi Finds, which means availability is limited to April 8 through April 14. For those unfamiliar with Aldi Finds, these are recurring weekly product drops that span kitchen tools, seasonal decorations, pet beds and toys, and other items that tend to sell out fast once they appear on shelves.

Heart to Tail 3-Tier Pet Food Puzzle, $6.99 at Aldi

Aldi

Designed with three tiers, this toy presents dogs with layers to investigate and encourages them to sniff, push and solve their way toward concealed treats. The activity goes beyond simple play by providing mental engagement, which matters for high-energy dogs who need more than a neighborhood walk. Rather than releasing energy in wild bursts that can wreck a living room, dogs stay focused and occupied while working toward a reward.

There's also a practical benefit: if your dog views boredom as something to conquer, this toy offers a constructive outlet that may help reduce behaviors tied to excess pent-up energy, giving you a bit of quiet while they stay happily busy.

Fast eaters can benefit too. When snack time becomes a puzzle, dogs must put in more effort for their treats, which can support digestion and add enrichment to the meal.

The caveat is the same one that applies to all Aldi Finds: this item won't remain in stores indefinitely. For anyone with a restless dog at home, or for those who simply want to be ready for the next time they need a few minutes of calm, this puzzle toy fits the bill.
