Kaley Cuoco Posts Emotional Farewell to Beloved Rescue Dog Ruby, Sparking Outpouring of Support

Actress Kaley Cuoco is widely recognized for her deep commitment to animal welfare, a passion that rivals her dedication to acting. She founded Oh Norman!, a brand offering sustainable, veterinarian-endorsed dog supplements and treats, and her California ranch shelters a diverse group of rescued animals, including dogs, horses, a bunny, a goat, a rescue cow, pigs, and chickens.

Recently, one particular rescue dog became the focus of widespread affection. Ruby, whom Cuoco adopted in 2014, passed away earlier this week. Through an emotional Instagram post, Cuoco shared a photo montage and a tribute that has struck a chord with pet owners around the world.

Kaley’s caption moved many to tears. She expressed heartfelt sentiments in memory of her dog. “Ruby, I knew this day would eventually come, but it doesn’t make it any easier. My sweet Ruby has crossed the rainbow bridge. I’ve had her for so many years that I’ve truly lost count. We have been through SO much together, and through everything, she has remained the exact same: the sweetest little angel snowball. Everyone loved her!!

I was doing a TV segment at the East Valley Shelter a very long time ago. She was the dog they had me hold. I went home that night and couldn’t get her out of my mind, so I went back the next day and adopted her. Best decision I ever made. The more pets we have, the more we go through this familiar pain, but it’s an honor to give these dogs the best life possible because that’s all that matters.”

Immediately, fans and friends flooded Instagram with condolences and reminiscences of their own departed pets, each message filled with genuine emotion. Actress @whitneycummings wrote, “Honey. I love you so much. She was the luckiest diva on earth.

Singer @gloriaestefan also left a warm comment, “Sending you love! With all the unconditional love they give us, the pain of their loss is worth it…”

@marthaplimpton shared, “Oh, no. Sweet baby love. I’m so sorry. It doesn’t get any easier, no matter how many dog children one has, and has to say goodbye to. Walter and I are sending your family a long, deep hug.”

The affection people hold for their furry companions is unmistakable in these replies.
