Chewy Is Selling a Cat Scratching Post Shaped Like a Palm Tree

Cats need scratching posts, but many of them are unattractive. Chewy is now offering a scratching post that looks like a palm tree, which can add some style to your home while giving your cat a place to scratch, climb, stretch, and play.

The TSCOMON 37.4-inch Sisal Cat Scratching Post is a scratching post, hanging toy, and palm tree design all in one. Its green and brown colors with simulated plant details make it blend in more naturally with your decor.

It's not just about looks; it's made for everyday use. The wide, plush base keeps it stable even when cats are active, and the natural sisal from agave plants provides the rough texture cats like for scratching and maintaining healthy nails. The hanging sisal ball also keeps them entertained with swatting, climbing, and play.

At 37.4 inches tall, it gives cats enough vertical space to stretch fully without taking over the room. It's also easy to clean and has a 4.7-star rating from over 370 reviews.

One pet parent wrote, "If you’re thinking about getting this, get it! This thing is loved by all 4 of my cats. We have two kittens who use it as a jungle gym… flying leaps, standing on the top, jumping off. It’s holding up really well and looks nicer than a standard post."

Another shared, "We have a new 3-month-old kitten, and we were looking for a scratcher to keep her off the couch. This tree completely did the trick. Our older cat loves it too. Easy to assemble, and looks great in our living room."

Currently, it's on sale for $35.99, or $39.99 for the upgraded version with two coconut scratching balls. For those tired of bulky scratching posts, this is one of the more playful and decor-friendly cat finds on Chewy.
