Pit Bull's Dedication to His Pup Cup Is Truly Something Else
Charlie Ross

Before pup cups became a thing, who knows what dogs obsessed over? It feels like every few weeks, a new TikTok star emerges because of their love for these treats. In this case, one dog simply cannot accept that his snack is up front while he's stuck in the back. As the on-screen text puts it, “Trying to get as close to his pup cup as possible.”
The camera angles down to show where the treat is stashed—in the cup holder—and then reveals Gilbert, a Pit Bull, with his head squeezed between the seats. His mom confirms in the caption that this is a regular occurrence.
People watching cheered Gilbert on and insisted his owners hand over the pup cup. “Give that baby his pup cup!” wrote @Lauren Rendueles, which became the top comment. @Terri shared a similar story: “We’ve actually had to ban the word 7brew in my house, cause my dog goes crazy.” It appears many dogs have a natural reaction to this creamy drink. @user8282878728684 summed up what Gilbert was thinking: “He can taste it from there.” He's definitely giving it his best shot.
What's the Deal with 'Pup Cups' and Are They Safe for Dogs?
Dogs go wild for this special dessert, but is it okay to give it to them? Over ten years ago, Starbucks introduced the “Puppuccino” as a secret menu item. Don't worry about the name—there's no coffee in it (caffeine can be dangerous for dogs). Typically, it's just whipped cream, though some cafes and pup cup makers add a little peanut butter or pumpkin. These days, you can find this treat almost anywhere.
Many dogs are crazy about pup cups, but you might be better off giving your furry friend a banana instead. A small amount of whipped cream isn't harmful, but some pets are lactose intolerant and will end up with an upset stomach. Somehow, they always act like it's worth it.
Gilbert obviously lives for this treat, so we're on board with his mom continuing to spoil him.
