Metallic Dog Lamps at T.J. Maxx Offer Anthropologie Aesthetic for Less

Anthropologie often tempts me with its charming home decor, but the prices can be a dealbreaker. I'll spot something online, check the cost, and then close the tab without buying. This happens a lot with playful pieces that aren't essentials, yet I somehow convince myself my home needs them.

Luckily, T.J. Maxx has a solution. Their website offers a set of metallic dog lamps that have that Anthropologie vibe but cost far less. You can pick from five breeds: Boxer, Doodle, Yorkie, Pug, and Schnauzer, all at the same price.

Each lamp has a metallic base shaped like a dog with a textured finish, topped with a removable hardback shade. They stand 22 inches tall and measure about nine inches across, so they're sizable enough to serve as a real decor piece rather than just a small novelty.

The lamps include a five-foot cord, a basic turn knob switch, and use a Type A bulb up to 100 watts. They are also ETL listed.

But the real draw? A metallic Pug holding up your lampshade.

Who Needs These T.J. Maxx Dog Lamps?

• Anyone who admires the whimsical animal decor at Anthropologie but wants to save money.

• Boxer, Doodle, Yorkie, Pug, and Schnauzer owners who are about to find out how tempting breed-specific home goods can be.

• People whose style is best described as “classic with a quirky twist.”

• Those who think a plain lamp is a missed chance to add another dog to the house.

• Pet parents whose homes already clearly show a dog lives there.

• Anyone looking for a housewarming gift for a dog lover.

I can picture one of these looking adorable on an entryway table, nightstand, or living room side table. It provides light, but it's also like a little dog statue wearing a lampshade as a hat.

And when you can get that wonderfully weird Anthropologie style for considerably less?

Suddenly, finding room for another lamp doesn't seem difficult at all.
